I'm Back!

Hey guys, I'm aware I haven't uploaded a blog post for quite a while, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm hoping to update much more often now that summer is upon us. This is a pretty boring and pointless post but oh well, I just wanted to let you know that I am coming back because I really enjoy writing on my blog and it's a good place for me to invest my time, rather than just sitting in McDonalds (which is basically what I spend all my time doing).
Moving on, I'm really looking forward to some of my posts I've got planned, they're going to be a good mixture of beauty and fashion posts to days out that I think you'll find interesting - hopefully anyways.

So yeah, I promise to start uploading more regularly from now on.

Also, I've started a youtube channel so go check it out here. It's a work in progress so don't judge lmao.
I hope you're all excited for summer, I defiinitely am!

Fall Lookbook

Hi guys, I know I'm absolutely terrible at uploading weekly but I will honestly try my best. Since fall is upon us (and yes I know I'm British so it should be Autumn but I prefer fall okay) I thought I would show you all a few outfits that I think fit this season.

I paired all my outfits with my matte black Doctor Martens because I love them, they go with anything and they're really good for keeping your feet warm on chillier days! I got mine from Office and they were £100, a lot for a pair of boots but they will be well loved, don't you worry.

I wore a couple of things in different outfits to show you how differently you can style the same item in your wardrobe.

The first look is the most basic, I wore my black disco pants with a cream knit jumper with gold flecks. You could easily substitute the disco pants with plain leggings as well.

The next look is probably my favourite, it can be worn on an everyday basis or you could glam it up with some statement jewellery. The whole outfit is so so comfy and I think the jacket is such a beautiful fall colour.

My third look is me recycling my summer clothing, I refuse to put my dungarees away until next summer so I paired them with plain black tights and the same knit jumper from my first look.

The final outfit I put together is the most dressed up, in my opinion. I think the bold blue colour and the burgundy really compliment each other, they shouldn't work...but they do.

I hope these gave you some ideas on what to wear in the next few months leading up to CHRISTMAS GUYS!!

Creams!

Okay, so me, my gorgeous pal Holly and Lewis went to this uh-mazing Italian/American desert restaurant place called Creams and it was delicious. There's quite a few based all over England so I'm sure there's one not that from wherever you may live.

The menu is iNsAnE, it is so varied there will be at least five things that you will like. There are waffles, crepes, milkshakes and sundaes bigger than my head! You can go and check out their full menu here.

I decided on a Ferrero Rocher sundae (which I couldn't finish) and a diet coke, Holly had a bueno milkshake and a chocolate and banana crepe (that was delicious) and Lewis had a protein shake (ew) and a crepe with strawberries, yummy.

If there is a Creams near you, I suggest that you go as soon as possible because it's fab and pretty reasonably priced considering the portion sizes - I'm going back on Thursday haha!

Sorry for my lack of posting, I will try my best to post at least once a week but comment on what you would like to read.

Back To School

Most of you are probably back to school, sixth form, college or university by now and it's a pretty miserable time really. Our summer is over for another year, but one thing that makes school a little easier to bear is being organized and getting lots of new stationery. Is that just me? I think I'm just a very weird fourteen year old. Anyway, I thought I would show you my essentials in my school bag.

My tan handbag is from Primark and it was £12. It's very roomy because I have to carry an A3 sketchbook for art and I finally have a bag that it fits inside. I use the longer strap for putting it on my shoulder rather than on my arm. There are two mini pockets and a zip pocket in the main section, I use the front pocket for my most needed things like a biro and lip balm.

How cute is my makeup bag?! I love it omg, I can't remember how much it is but it's also from Primark. Inside it I put:
Palmer's hand cream £?
Batiste mini dry shampoo £?
tissues £?
perfume sample FREE
glittery mirror-Primark £1
Soap&Glory hand sanitizer £1

I keep gum, my Baby Lips and a hairbrush in the front pocket of my bag so that I can get to them easily. I have my deodorant in the main compartment as it doesn't fit in my makeup bag. I also just have a few hairbands and grips in case I need them for PE or dance etc.

I just used an old makeup bag for my pencil case this year, I got all my stationery from WHSmith (taking full advantage of the 3 for 2 sales).
Inside my pencil case is:
a ruler
a protractor
a sharpener
blue biros
a glue
highlighters
pencils
coloured pencils
a four coloured biro
a pack of rubbers

Because I take art, I decided to get the 24 pack of WHSmith's own coloured pencils which I had last year as well but I lost a few. They're really good quality and fairly cheap, so if you like drawing or take art GCSE aswell then I highly recommend them.

This is a Bic four-coloured biro (I'm not sure what to call it), I find it really handy for labeling in science or geography. As you can see, it has pastel purple, green, blue and pink.

I hope you enjoyed this post and your first few days back at school haven't been too hellish!

August Favourites

August has flown by, so I thought I would show you what I've been loving throughout last month. There's a few beauty things and otherwise they're just random things that I think are great.

I've recently discovered the caramel Snack'a'Jacks, they are delicious and containing only 51 calories in each rice cake, they are a remotely healthy snack.

Most of you will probably be accustomed with the Barry M Gelly Hi Shine nail varnishes so you will understand how amazing they are, but in August they are basically all I've been wearing on my nails (with the exception of accent nails).

A few weeks ago I bought a new lipstick for a wedding and I absolutely fell IN LOVE with it, the velvet finish means that there is no need for gloss and the reddy, orange colour is so versatile.

I suffer with extremely bad under eye circles, no matter how much sleep I get I always seem to have bags under my eyes so I invested in a cream that is meant to brighten your eyes. It's working out well, the darkness is lessening and hopefully it will keep working.

I also have been wearing my flatforms non-stop so they have turned from white into a dingy but well loved greyish colour. They are so, so comfy and go with practically everything.

Now, since it hasn't been boiling hot in London the past few weeks my denim jacket has been plastered to my body, I just love the way it looks. I got it two/three sizes too big so that it's oversized and comfy.

I'm sorry I haven't posted much but I've had quite a busy week, feel free to post comments :)

Bourjois Colour Boost Review

One of my friends, Hannah, mentioned that she couldn't decide whether to purchase one of the Colour Boost lipsticks by Bourjois, so I'm now going to order every single one of you to go and buy one as soon as possible.

I love this product, mine is in the colour Orange Punch and it is absolutely gorgeous. Although they say that they last for 10 hours, you're more likely to have to top up every few hours. But, the fact that they're glossy means that they aren't drying on your lips; that also means that there is no need for an extra layer of gloss so the Colour Boosts are a really quick, easy option if you're in a rush.

Another great feature is the SPF 15 that the lipsticks include which makes them a great option if you're going on holiday or out in the sun because trust me, you do not want to have sun burnt lips. It isn't pleasant.

I use mine all the time because they are so efficient and even though they aren't super pigmented they give you a lovely pop of colour.

Seriously, next time you're in a drugstore go and pick up one of these because they truly are fab and you should check out Hannah's blog here.

Let me know if you enjoy posts like these so I know to do more or not.

Matilda the Musical

So for my best friend Lois' 14th birthday present, a few of us grouped together to buy her a ticket to see Matilda the Musical. The both of us went together today and it was fab.

We got the train into Covent Garden and stopped off at Nandos for lunch, of course. The performance didn't start until 3:00pm so we had some time to kill, we wandered around Covent Garden for a while before we decided we should start making our way to the Cambridge Theatre - where Matilda is showing at the moment. After having some trouble with Google Maps we finally arrived and were met with a crowd of people waiting to go into the theatre.

Matilda the Musical was written based on the childrens novel by Roald Dahl. Matilda Wormwood is the main character in the story, she is a young girl with a passion for reading, storytelling and learning, however her parents do not share her passion and make her feel bad about it everyday.

But when Matilda starts school she is faced with an even bigger problem. Miss Trunchball is the wicked witch of the story, also known as Matilda's headteacher and she makes Matilda's life even more hell-like by accusing her of several things and refusing to acknowledge her academic ability.

One good thing does come out of starting school though, Matilda meets the lovely Miss Honey who supports her and does her very best to make Matilda feel special, unlike her parents. They both run into a lot of trouble as clever children aren't accepted well in this school but they manage to overcome their problems together.

inside the theatre

You have to give the children credit, throughout the entire performance they were full of energy and all delivered fantastic performances. The whole cast were absolutely amazing and surpassed my expectations.

The whole day was lovely and I think you should all go and check out Lois' much more detailed review of the show here.

I hope you're all having a spectacular life experience :)
